ASTM B514 Pipe are welded pipes that are manufactured by using an automatic welding process, using flat-rolled alloy, without adding any filler metal. After the welding, just before treatment with the final solution, this material is cold worked in just the weld metal or in the base metal, as well as the weld metal. To the pipe that has been welded, a scale-free finish furnishing is done. There is no need for descaling, if bright annealing is used.

ASTM B514 Standard Specification for Welded Nickel-Iron-Chromium Alloy Pipe

ASTM B514 specification covers nickel-iron-chromium alloys in the form of welded, cold-worked, and annealed pipe for general corrosive service and heat resisting applications. These products are furnished three alloys: UNS N08120, UNS N0880, and UNS N08810. ASTM B514 is a standard specification for Incoloy 800 Welded Pipe (ANSI B36.19). It is used in corrosive environments.
