Stainless Steel 304H Seamless Tubing does not perform well in more highly reducing environments such as those containing chlorides and sulfuric acid. The Chemical Composition of 304H stainless steel is iron Fe 66.08 – 72.96 %, Chromium Cr 18 – 20 %, Silicon Si <= 0.75 %, Carbon C 0.040 – 0.10 %, Sulfur S <= 0.030 %, Manganese Mn <= 2.0 %, Phosphorous P <= 0.040 % and Nickel Ni 8.0 – 11 %. The Density of 304H stainless steel is 7.90 g/cm3 (0.285 lbs./in3). 304H stainless steel has a Melting Range of 1398–1421 °C (2550–2590 °F). The Thermal Conductivity of 304H stainless steel is 16.3 W/m-°K (9.4 BTU/hr.ft.2b/°F).
