Copper Tube for Gas Line
Copper tube for gas line calls for the use of a special type of copper, as not all types of copper can be used in gas lines. The reason why all kinds of copper cannot be used in gas lines, is because natural gas contains some amount of H2S in it and this is harmful to copper and alloys of copper. Thus, the common types of copper tubes that are allowable for use in gas lines are Types L and K. For any underground lines, Type K copper tubes are used. For interior distribution systems, Type L copper tubes are used.
K65 Copper Tube
K65 Copper Tube are used for high-pressure applications, because the heat transfer properties that copper has, is ideal for use in applications requiring high pressure usage. SOFT COPPER TUBE IN COIL
We can also supply a selection of soft copper tube in coil form. Available with an outside diameter of up to 3/4″ this product is easy to manipulate by hand or machine and is ideal for forming tight bends in central heating (particularly under-floor heating) or cooling or cabling applications.
Coiled copper tube is commonly used in the aerospace, petrochemical and brewing industry as well as being an essential component of evaporating equipment for the food processing industry.
