Super 304h austenitic stainless steel

There are so many different 304H products types that are available today. There are many advantages to using Super 304h austenitic stainless steel, such as it has a higher tensile yield strength, it gives long term creep strength, it has a higher carbon content and this gives it better heat resistant qualities. SS 304H has an Ultimate Tensile Strength of 75400 psi (520 MPa). The Yield Tensile Strength of 304H is 29700 psi (205 MPa). AISI 304H has a Rockwell B Hardness of 90. By using the normal welding processes, it is easy to weld 304H.

SS 304H has a Specific Heat of 500 J/kg-°K (0–100 °C) [0.12 BTU/lb-°F (32–212 °F)]. 304H has a Thermal Conductivity of 16.3 W/m-°K (9.4 BTU/hr/ft2/ft/°F). The Electrical Resistivity of AISI 304H is 73 Microhm-cm at 20 °C (29.1 Microhm-in at 68 °F). The Rupture Strength of SUS 304H is 3190 – 7400 psi (22.0 – 51.0 MPa).

The UNS No. of 304H stainless steel is S30409. The Density of AISI 304H is 0.285 lbs /in3 (7.90 g/cm3). SS 304H has a Modulus of Elasticity of 200 GPa (29.0 x 106 psi).
