Titanium content is typically only around 0.5%. The main advantage of TP316Ti Tubing is that it can be held at higher temperatures for a longer period without sensitisation (precipitation) occurring. in AISI 316Ti Pipe corrosion resistance is also improved, particularly against sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and tartaric acids, acid sulfates and alkaline chlorides.

1.4541 stainless steel equivalent is that of UNS CODE S32100, ASTM 321, KS STS 321, JIS SUS 321 and DIN 1.4541. 1.4541 stainless steel is also known as Grade 321 stainless steel. 1.4541 stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel that is heat resistant.
